Adoption Application Process
At Boston Harbor Rescue and Adoption, we accept applications for specific dogs through our online application form. Applications will only be processed if you meet the dog’s specific requirements. Available dogs are also listed on Petfinder, where you can find instructions on how to access the application link.
We primarily accept applications from Boston Terrier lovers in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, but we may consider adoptions in other states depending on individual circumstances.
Please note that we do not buy or sell dogs.
There is an adoption fee ranging from $150 to $600, depending on the dog’s age, health, and veterinary care requirements. These fees help cover medical costs for the dogs in our care. All known veterinary records will be provided upon completed adoption.
Our top priority is to find loving, permanent homes where our dogs will never have to experience neglect or shelter life again. Each placement is made based on the dog’s unique needs and how well an applicant’s home can meet those needs.
🚨 Important Adoption Requirements:
- We are unable to adopt to homes that use electronic fences.
- We cannot accept applications from families with children under the age of 10.
